Topic: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Safety – Are You Using It to Become a Better Safety Professional?
Artificial Intelligence is quickly gaining traction as a polarizing subject in our daily lives. When used appropriately, it can be a force multiplier that allows good colleagues to increase their output significantly. When used irresponsibly, it can lead to inaccurate conclusions, regulatory risk, and a lack of critical thinking. This session will explore the common pitfalls, as well as some of the potential benefits/strategies of using AI to make safety professionals better, without falling victim to the current limitations.
Speaker: Josh Ritter, CSP, M.A., M.S.
