Presidents Message

Dear ASSP Louisville Chapter Members,

It is an honor to once again serve as President of the ASSP Louisville Chapter for the 2026–2027 term. Thank you for the confidence you have placed in me, and for your continued commitment to advancing the safety profession.

I am proud to share that, through the dedication of our Executive Committee, volunteers, sponsors, and members, our chapter once again achieved ASSP Platinum Level Chapter Status for the 2025–2026 year. This recognition reflects the strength of our chapter and the value we continue to provide to our members.

This year, we will build on that success by maintaining our focus on the initiatives that have made our chapter successful while expanding opportunities for professional development.

Our Focus for 2026–2027

  • Expand Continuing Education Opportunities (CEUs): Increase educational programs that provide valuable CEUs and professional development opportunities to help members maintain certifications and stay current with industry best practices.
  • Strengthen Member & Regional Engagement: Continue supporting the EKU Student Section, growing participation across Kentucky, and expanding networking opportunities.
  • Promote Professional Collaboration: Build on our partnerships with other organizations through joint meetings and events.
  • Recognize Excellence & Support Future Professionals: Initiate a Quarterly Member Spotlight and promote the Frank Gradisek Scholarship to encourage the next generation of safety professionals.
