Presenter Mike Cannady

Mike Cannady owner of Kentuckiana Regional Safety Center, and SAFETY TEK-KNOWLEDGIES, LLC, aka SAFTTEK has been in the safety and emergency response training business in some form or fashion since 1974. Mike says his career “has taken me many places, and I feel as if I have acquired a genuine understanding of how the world works” During his three decade plus career as a safety professional Mike has served our community as a past instructor for the Kentucky Fire Service Training Program and as a Company Commander with the Louisville Fire Department. The years of experience have allowed Mike to develop, prepare, and present a myriad of safety programs, with very real, lifelike scenarios. The primary topic of discussion will be Fall Protection, and how some industries are rising to the challenges of the new OSHA Regulations and ANSI Requirements.
